The staff and parents at Pine River Elementary School are very proud of our students that travelled to Innisdale today for Sportsapalooza. The students reported that they had a great time and brought back manny ribbons!!

The students in grades 6-8 had the opportunity to video conference with Commander Chris Hadfield today - Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Many students seemed to enjoy the experience. We are planning to conference with David Suzuki in November.
Pine River Elementary School students and teachers were part of the 1,500 elementary students who were taking part in Paint the Town Pink on International Day of Pink - an anti-bullying awareness campaign in downtown, Barrie. Seventeen stores are participating, like Angie's Outdoor on Dunlop St. East, whose front window was decorated pink by students from Innisdale Secondary School School. CHERYL BROWNE/BARRIE EXAMINER
